Love it mate :thumleft: :thumleft:

After watching Petes videos I have the same problem - luckily I am a bit broke at the moment but come the summer auto trader here I come!

Well that's been loads of fun
All now stripped clutch fluid changed and brakes bled again as had slightly spongy feel when at brands
Rattley heat shield removed too

And it definitely feels lighter on its feet well chuffed
Brakes feel great very strong
Clutxh bite still very high( might have to see I'd rogue can fit me in Friday) but it now returns a lot quicker as it should
I did put a stereo in for some comforts for the long journeys but its not too loud in there no sound deadening has gone the 1.5 was miles louder
Overall very chuffed anyone need any interior parts for a mk3??

I think you want a little too far with the weight removal, as there's one bit missing you might need :clown:

Would have been interesting to know but you can see is got to have been a substantial weight loss. Do you think it is critical which area of the car the weight is lost from or is it just a general and significant loss of weight from the whole car?

i am just going for where ever i can loose it to be honest

and picked up my seats from ashley who very kindly brought them all the way down here for me.. huge thanks to him

partially fitted on the pasenger side this eve, will be using the original runners and just taking the seat off... that way i keep the seat belt buckle and proper mount points..

will get some pics tomorrow :thumleft:

Was great to meet you at last Pete, your "other" car is very nice, and sounds immense on overrun

Looking forwards to a passenger ride this summer if I can get my car together in time for a track day :thumleft:

Same buddy always enjoy meeting imoc peeps
It's running 331hp and 400ftlb torque at 2600 rpm. Which in a Focus is a lot
The over run is my favorite bit about the car

Look forward to seeing you on a track day soon

well last few mad bits get done before bedford

1st was clutch, ended up putting it in a local garage to have it changed with this weather i didn't want to get stuck outside in the rain
when changed the clutch plate was fine, but looked to be the original, guy said most likely the pressure plate had got weak

and yep, soo much nice now a good bite and feel to the clutch now, so much happier with it

Also go the seats in.. very please and comfy
passenger one sits higher but not worried and drivers is pretty low, i have managed to use the original seat runners to get these to fit, so still able to use the original seat belts too

Brakes were prefect as was the car.. it got hammered all day and never showed signs of anything other than wanting more,

running standard suspension and it was fine(yes in the pics a bit of body roll), was still more than enough to upset the bigger cars, and i managed to melt my front and rear tyres

Here is its last run with Ben in the car

you look at my channel the others are there too..

Looking forward to blyton on the 28th march..

loved it was a great track car. definatly made teh right choice with it
will get some bigger ARB's somepoint, and as its a budget track car unless i find some coilovers cheap ill get some springs for noe, cos lets be honest its all about having fun, no need to throw money at it.

and belive me i had a lot of fun doesn't have to be the quickest car..

Also got to have a drive of Ben's sc on track which sounded amazing, defo notice the difference between the two, bens was quicker on the straights (just :) ) but the mk3 more than made up for it en the corners especally the long sweeping ones

Looks like you're having fun! But yeah, a set of stiffer springs and ARBs may be a good idea

The seat's ok?? It's good to see them being used again :thumleft:
