[Mk2] [Turbo] EBC HKS EVC-S?

Im looking to buy an ebc over the winter, specifically this one

Now, I really dont have much knowledge on electronic boost controllers apart from their basic function.

Is this boost controller any good in terms of extra features? or is it just pretty and expensive, it retails at £363 new.

Im drawn to it purely because it matches the type 1 turbo timer and would like to have both that match to keep the dash tidy etc.

Its purpose will be to up the boost to 17psi on my rev 3 turbo. Ideally id like 2 settings 13psi and 17psi

if anyone can provide any info or has experience working with or setting up one id appreciate the advice.

there are better boost controllers available for less money... the Gizzmo ms-ibc for example.

personally I'm getting a greddy profec OLED, more expensive than the gizmo but it looks nicer.
