[Mk2] [Turbo] Lazy eye kit issue

Post by Jaffacake »

Basically I got a lazy eye kit off eBay which I installed today as per the instructions however the issue I'm having is they go up fine in stages to your preferred height BUT when I turn the lights off the headlight units themselves don't retract back down as they would normally, the bulbs go off but the unit stays up. Any ideas if iv missed something or if I just have to pop the frunk every time to re-insert the fuse in correct location. Thanks in advance guys.

Sounds about right for ebay.

Pointless really. Illegal to use lights during daytime. And you need lights fully up at night. So when you going to use them? :?

Each to their own mate. My car had a form of them fitted when I bought it. Simply a switch in the feed.

First thing I did was remove it. Never understood the 'lazy eye' mod. Just makes the headlights look broken :?

Agreed, don't see the point in the whole lazy eye kit, but each to their own.
But as for the illegal to drive with lights on during daylight, no it's not. It's encouraged by alot of people and organisations now due to the increased visibilities and safety implications.
