Certainly a bit of interest has been generated in this I'm sure some one in the mr2 crowd will have it.

You don't....

I find that the best way it to have it arrive on the drive one day when she's out and if she ever questions you about it you merely state that the car has always been there and then you question her sanity!

Someone on here has to buy it... I want to see it fully restored!!

I'm watching it myself :)

I need to be sensible though on top of everything else so I'm only going so high on it.

I think this finished off and built properly in gloss black with work Meisters in the correct sizes would look perfect

I have to much work to do on my mk2 to seriously want this and start another project but I have to admit it is really tempting - however I won't be bidding it up - I need to spend the money finishing at least one of the projects I have on the go and have got bored with. Be great if some one on here did get it though - certainly a build thread I would follow.

Lol well was being polite. Would be a good race car donor, with the previous history it just won't be worth as much as a show car IMHO.

/\ edited so that the link works :thumleft:

That has been being advertised in various places since Paul sold it.

I think the current owners bought it in an unfinished state from Paul expecting to mark it up in a big way and make a huge profit. To the best of my knowledge it hasn't actually been finished off as it was sold by Paul as a project so exercise caution if you decide to buy it.

Paul wrote a lengthy statement regarding this car being sold by the current owners... I will try and dig it out :-k

This is the thread I was thinking about...

Will be worth reading and considering what the trader is like before bidding on the car :-k

Well.... Who got it? I've been in the pub since 12 and totally forgot about it and it went cheaper than I had planned. :( needless to say that the plan to go for "a" pint wasn't so good after all
