Yea fingers crossed the weather holds for it, really looking forward to meeting some guys off the club :)

Strange though it being on a Monday night? Blackpool is practically dead throughout the week. Surely a Saturday would be a better night?

Hi Matey

that's why we have the meets on a Monday, weve traditionally always had them on the 2nd Monday of the month, apart from weekend runs in the summer, would be a nightmare on a Saturday.

with you on not raining, year before last it b b b b blooming checked it down, was still a good turn out

:D

look forward to meeting you

regards

Brian

Yea, thats true, I live in Blackpool on one of the main through roads to the start of the illuminations and every saturday without fail theres back up of cars as far as you can see.

The VXR OC had their meet the other week, had a nosey out of the window, went away made a brew, went on pc for 15 mins, looked out again and they were still there, albiet 10 foot further down! But yea, I can understand why it'd be on a Monday.

Yep, I made the fatal mistake of making the trip down on Saturday. Took 3 hours to get from south shore to just past the pleasure beach, gave up at that point!

Whats the deal after the chippy? Scatter like rats in a kicked over bin or a bit of a drive?

Unfortunately, I've just arrived home after a 9hr drive from the Isle of Skye and just can't face another 130 mile round trip to Blackpool.

Have a great night, and I'll see you next month :thumleft:

Don't worry mate

Life has a habit of getting in the way, what with the day / night jobs, money, family, health etc.

There are many demands on our time and resources these days.

I have to admit i do drop out of a few of the winter meets, my old bones do not like the cold ha ha
