[Mk2] [Generic] Dual filament bulb holders?

Post by Ryan6926 »

Hi all I'm hoping someone can help me please, I'm in need of a Rear fog light for my MR2 for it's MOT which is due in a few weeks so trying to get it sorted. I've got the rear fog switch sorted and having done a quick search into how to wire one in I realise I need a few diodes and some dual filament bulb holders for the inners to enable them to be wired up as foglights to avoid putting a fugly one underneath the car

My query is where can I get some of these from. Are they easy to get hold of or do I need to buy another rear light loom for the car please?

I appreciate it maybe an obvious question to most but I'm not exactly the most car minded person on the planet

Cheers in advance

They are the same on most Toyotas of the era. You already have them on your brake lights. So you could get another rear light loom from an MR2 and nick the holder, or things like Previas, Corollas etc from your local scrappy.
