Cheers guys...appreciate the comments. I know 3 spokes are like Marmite, but personally they have really grown on me, and now they are on the car it shows those calipers off great.

I may have to get some 5mm hub-centric spacers and fit them on the front as there is literally a fag paper gap between the top of the wheel and the strut. There was no way it could of been adjusted, not even with a camber bolt.
There is no rubbing but its peace of mind. The chaps at Elite said tolerances like that were only found on Formula 1 cars!

Wheels look smart mate. I'm also a fan of the 3 spoke. I've got the Advan SA3R's fitted to mine.

Did you manage to sort the centre cap issue?

Not yet. My thought of fixing them with a small screw/bolt won't do...and short of glueing them not sure what to suggest. :|

tigerseal - I used it to fix a centre cap when I had a badly machined centre bore on an alloy. It worked well and wasn't visible from the outside.

Where are the brembo calipers from?

As long as you use a decent glue/sealant, I can't actually see that being be problem. It's not like you ever need access to the hub nut with the wheels on anyway is it :-k

In the mean time I have got to get this looking more presentable! At it is, it will just not do!

And that horrid grey spigot has to go! Found a company that will make polished aluminium ones...but won't be ready for next week sadly.

I have never used Tigerseal but heard good comments on the stuff. Is it really strong?

Brembos were a kit i bought many years ago from Red Dot racing. Completely transformed the braking system.

Yeah, it's the shizz for stuff like this. You can get it in black and grey aswell as white.

Thanks for the info on the calipers, I'll check them out.

Bought! :thumleft:

My plan is to bend 3 of the 6 'tabs' inwards towards the centre of the rear of the cap. Slice off the other 3, (as they would overlap) and that will give a good surface area for adhesion to the spigot ring...When the wheel comes off the cap and spigot would come off with it. Thats the theory any way!
I am just hoping that Tiger Seal stands up to centrifugal force!

Spoke to TT Tools today and they are currently manufacturing two shiny aluminium spigot rings for the rear, and combined spigot/spacers for the front. This will widen the track by 10mm (5mm each side) and will move the wheel away from the strut.
Will post up pics once i receive them.

Received the bits in the post today, very impressed with the engineering quality.
Bespoke integrated spigot and spacers for the front, and bespoke spigots for the rear....should smarten it up!

Much better!

After:

And the fronts cleaned up as well. Cant quite see the bright aluminium spigots in the pics, but they are a vast improvement on the grey plastic ones.
Painted the internal with Hammerite Smooth black.

And finally fitted the steering wheel. The boss from RHD Japan was wrong...and then the one from Speedhut also wrong! So ended up borrowing one from a pal for the show. The right one is en route from Japan...3rd time lucky!
