Looking good, Scott! :thumleft:

The only thing I'd say is that sticking the centre caps on is going make balancing the wheels a bit of a mare when you next get the tyres changed. Not sure how easy tiger seal is to remove.

Near impossible without doing some damage I would think - its a valid point scott which I didn't think of. I wonder if there is some kind of semi permanent adhesive out there that would be suitable?

Don't worry peeps.... Have decided against the centre cap thing now anyway. Going for the raw JDM look! Lol!
To be honest the centres have cleaned up real nice. I used hammerite smooth and painted the front hubs, and got a wire brush to the rears!

Car looked great at Japfest Scott, I parked next to you at the Chieveley services (white TRD)... was going to come and say hello but was starving so headed straight for Greggs for a bacon and sausage bap...

I did have a wander to the IMOC stand but there was no-one in sight to say hello to for a chat... maybe next time.

I had a good look round your car on the IMOC stand and was very impressed :thumleft:

Cheers mate, yours looked stunning when i saw it at Chieveley. I had a wander over to the main arena early on but was so busy I headed back after a short while and spent the rest of the day having a look round club stands. Such a shame about the weather, and the wind killed our club gazebo as well!

Thanks, it's alright, just wish I could get the front repaired as it kind of lets the car down a bit...

I know what you mean about the wind, our gazebo took a bit of a battering too...

All in all it was a good day, a tiring one, but a good one...

Good pic! I realised when i got home that I took pictures of everything else except my own car! I think it was because i was annoyed that it was covered in mud and raining all the time so was not looking her best.

Been a while since an update, not much has happened other than replacing some tired components:

New air con condenser rad fitted and AC system re-gassed
New KV85 Magnecor leads
New plugs
Rough idle sorted
Side skirts new stainless fixings fitted (no more rattles!)
Replaced damaged tweeter covers
Replaced damaged heater control unit
Replaced door switch panel

Next up...fit this baby...

Been a while since I updated this....

Some new additions...
The chromed cam cover is all fitted nicely.

And now for some other new bits...first up..some anniversary sills and trim.
This replaced the lockwood version I had.

Next up...off came the chromed strut cross brace...and on went a brand new TRD. Also, the Rogue fans I had installed with the multitude of stickers is off and replaced with a nice clean mirror finish KO Racing version.

Repairs made to the stripped out threads on the GRP engine lid. Drilled out and aluminium riv nuts installed. Finished off with SS bolts and anodised blue cup washers.

And finally, off came the 21 year old Rev3 lights...and on went a brand spanking new set.

And how she sat at Japfest at the weekend.

And then today a nice delivery from Japan. A carbon fibre slam panel...

And a nice shiny new HKS SSQV dump valve..

Love my car!!! :-)

I am incredibly jealous of this 2  Looking awesome 8) :thumleft:

Nice upgrades. I can never justify spending the money on things that will be mostly undercover for myself, but well worth it on a show piece such as yours 8)
