bought this the other week. standard 95' GT spec turbo

Post by steelyblue »

Hey, decided it would be best to start a build thread for this. Just picked it up last week, i bought it without mot but needs very little to see it through. The only niggles are it has sat for a long time so needs a good detail to bring the colour back again as the bumpers have retained the colour better than the metal which is something ive dealt with before. She also needs a good service which ive already got the bits for thanks to gts chris :thumleft: ive also started gathering up my stage one parts so i can up the boost the second i get it through the mot. the car is totally standard bar universal filter (wanted ad up for a good one) dump valve and full s/s exhaust. I also got a chargecooler along with purchase of the car. Other than that ive ordered a new fog as one is cracked and has filled up with water, new brakes and pads and a few other odds and ends. So with that heres some pics of it, please bear in mind the only photos i have of it are the day it was collected and my mechanic cant start the work til the end of this week so its not looking as good as it will in a wee while

I would double check on the oil dude. Toyota maybe thought you had a new Roadster (MK3 not a MK2).

Looks very clean otherwise!

the oil is 100% correct, was purchased from gts chris along with the rest of my service stuff! Thanks for the concern though!

Thanks for all the comments. got it professionally detailed so will get a few better pics of it up here shortly

well thats how she sits after PMG Motorcare gave it the buffing of its life!! Looks like a new car and is 100% original paintwork which im quite sure is a rarity these days. next step is to fit the exeedy clutch ive bought then have it set up on the rollers for stage pne. i plan to keep the car totally original bar power mods. very pleased with it
