[Mk2] [Generic] Digital radio with satnav?

Post by Danny »

Does anyone know of a double DIN head unit that has DAB radio and satnav?
Bluetooth as well preferably.
Can't seem to find any.

Yes there are units out there that have all that but they are rather pricey

Bit out of my price range that!

Found one, but it seems too cheap if I'm honest
I can't post a link because I've not posted enough, but its made by a company called Mimi who do aftermarket head units to fit unusual shaped OEM ones, or include control for stuff like aircon on BMWs where it's all controlled from one place.
£190 seems too good to be true though.

Yes too much for me too as I was looking for something to replace the RNS-D in the RS

An option though I haven't looked too far into it is the Parrot Asteroid unit

It's Android and uses PArrots own marketplace, but apparently a bit of fiddling gets you onto Googles Play and all the apps you would ever need. Only thing it foregoes is the DAB, which by all accounts isn't 100% yet.
