NW July Meet: Sunday 14th - Beach BBQ

Post by Big_Martin »

We did this a couple of years ago and it was a great meet.

The plan is to meet up 2.30 - 3.00 pm at PR25 2FN
This is a tesco extra with a large car park so we should be ok to meet up on here without causing any problems in the corner furthest from the store

We aim to leave there about 3pm with a nice scenic drive approx 30 miles to the location in southport for a beach BBQ (should weather be against us there will be a plan B so dont worry)

The fire pit will be in attendance so if you have any wood you wish to contribute feel free to bring it along.

Also, friends and family are more than welcome; the more the merrier! Just remember to bring your BBQ's and meat

I nearly got stuck in the sand but thankfully managed to get out with a nice finish!

Liz got stuck and needed a hand!

Just hoovered my car now we've got home as it seemed to have half the beech in it. Indy managed to get sand everywhere!

Post script:

Indy seemed to have drunk and maybe breathed in some sea water. Cue a trip to the hospital and antibiotics and settlers tums later cumulating in a bill of £159 she is back home. She's feeling sorry for herself.

I think the evidence might be here:
