Calipers

Post by MR2shane »

Hi,
Im trying to change front pads on a n/a rev3. Seems like they just wont quite fit in the slots...yet these pads fitted straight into my rev2 without issue. From what i can find out, the pads shouldnt be different by these revs.

The codes on the rev3 calipers say 341 38T30...any ideas if theyre off something else?

Thanks.

how close are they?

I changed my pads at the weekend and it looked like the new ones would not fit bit it was due to rust build up behind the stainless steel guides that clip into the caliper. I took these off and cleaned the rust off. Some had built up and stuck on the SS guides too. Once removed the new pads fitted perfectly.

Are you using new retaining clips? as above you'll need to remove any paint or rust on the calipers and the pads.
