Diesel
Who buys a 2 for MPG!!
Re: Diesel!?
That'd make a great second MR2!
Re: Diesel!?
Can't see the link in work, but if this is in N. Ireland, he has a build thread on mr2.ie.
It shocked us as well! Came from an Avensis I think

Here's the build thread: http://mr2.ie/mr2-forum/19-body-wheels- ... r2-project
Whatever you think about dumping a diesel in the back, you've got to admit the build has been done very well! I've no idea what the performance is like, but seeing how much that went for I really wish I had been the one to buy it

Re: Diesel!?
Absolutely, impressive nonetheless. Nice and torquey as well
Off topic: Another thing to note is that modified cars are going for a lot less in Ireland than in the UK. I bought a Rev 5 GTS Import for the equivalent of £2200 with 90k KMs on the clock and lots of goodies from Japan

Good point well made
Modified cars in NI are a great buy I bought a Saab 93 heavily but subtly modded for peanuts cost £200 for the trip over but sold it back in the UK and made £700 profit in three weeks

Re: Diesel!?
In this day and age I think a diesel '2 would be a very good idea, I'd buy one, if it wasn't shaped like the mk3.
Bags of torque, good power and MPG - why wouldn't you buy one????
