If I am correct you need to drop the fuel tank to get to it, as its under the tank

The fuel pump?
Drop the fuel tank and unbolt the plate that holds it in...it is in the tank

Re: [Mk2] [NA] removing fule pump
Remove under trays front to back
Remove the metal coolant lines
Remove cross braces under the tank
Remove one handbrake cable to allow it to be moved to one side
Undo pipes attached at firewall to fill neck breathers etc
Remove centre console
Remove ash tray
Remove plate with wiring going through
Remove tank straps underneath and prise tank out whilst someone guides wiring out safely
That's the gist of it, most things will become obvious once you start
I'm about to do it on mine again, this time on a gravel drive rather than the nice paved one I did it on previously

Re: [Mk2] [NA] removing fule pump
Any suggestions on which pump to replace with. I know if I use my old tubby one that sods law dictates it will fail

Re: [Mk2] [NA] removing fule pump
I fitted a rogue Motorsport pump in mine, although I can't review it too well, as mine has done very few miles. I trust rogue to use a half decent product, so I didn't mind giving it a go, if your unsure go with the name therefore Walbro
