[Mk2] [Turbo] speaker mountings

Post by stevek »

Hi guys just a quick question does anyone make mounting brackets for the door and rear speakers in my two. i have 4inch speakers to fit in the rear in the side panels where the standard ones are and 5 and 1/4 inch to fit in the doors or do i have to make some.just thought it would be a better job if someone made the correct parts.

When I changed my door speakers to 6.5'', I made some mdf rings and secured them to the door using self tapping screws, had to trim a bit off the door card for to clear the speaker.

There are a few companys out there that do make mdf rings, i bought some for my 6.5" speakers somewhere, cost about £8. Can't remember the name but just searched google.
