with the right pads, the standard discs will be all most people ever need
just make sure the rest is up to scratch - calipers operating correctly, braided hoses, decent fluid and bobs your uncle

Cheers mate,

Just sorting the calipers now as every corner had sticky sliders, bought some rbf600 brake fluid and about to get some btraided hoses so all good, thanks.

Hi Add, recently overhauled all my calipers, fitted new OEM discs, pads and Motul RBF600 fluid, I've not tracked the car since but very pleased with the results. I also fitted braided lines and master cylinder brace at the same time which has really helped firm up the pedal feel.

A branded disc is as good as any other branded disc for normal use.
