Wiper mechanism on go-slow (linkages seem fine)

Post by Rob »

Just stripped out my wiper mechanisms as they only travel slowly on the windscreen despite the various speed settings.

I expected to find clogged spindles and tight arm joints but these were all perfectly free moving.

I presume my wiper motor must have had it?

If you want a motor give me a shout as I have a couple spare and a complete linkage as I fitted a storm single wiper :)

Wipers can suffer when the alternator is dodgy - check this too.

Cheers for the photo (and good price) but mine has 23 in large number so appears different to those. No idea what difference it makes!
