As title, not sure if its possible to tell without taking the head off? Prob not but thought I would check

What revision car? Turbo or none turbo??

Rev 2 turbo, hoping its already been upgraded tonthe metal one as engine has been rebuilt a year ago.

Easy to tell. If you look up at the rear of the engine, you'll see a couple of "tabs" sticking out. They'll either be metal or fibre.

The inlet side?

Inlet side IIRC..
TOTB 2010 Rwd top speed, 1/4 and shootout winner.
10.7@142 on R888 street tyres, 10.3@134mph on slicks,
9's on slicks to come, with a clean full throttle pass! Goal of 0-150mph in a 1/4 of a mile....

had a look at mine today and couldnt really tell, all i could see was a little tag with a brass ring on it and the same further down the head

the metal gaskets from what i can see on the internet seem to have the metal/brass eyelets like mine and the carbon ones dont. Can someone confirm?

Just had a good look around my engine from the top and underneath, I can't find where you're meant to look, any pointers? Under the car? Passenger or drivers side? :thumleft:

Under the car look up under the inlet manifold

I think I was looking in the right place it's just covered in 20 years worth of oil and dirt and can't see a thing #-o
