eBay BOV

Post by Ethan21 »

How do you guys rate these

What do they sound like?
Do they leak?
How long do they last?

I know real ones are obviously much better but I am poor and can't justify spending 200.00 on a new one. my blitz one leaks under vacuum and a OEM BPV i bought as a replacement didn't last long before it broke as well

thanks :thumleft:

If you have been looking at this one
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SQV-4-STYLE-B ... 2ec4f9b08d

Thats the ones I sell buddy, they hold boost fine and I haven't had a single return on them!

I can do you a deal on here for slightly cheaper than the listing price on eBay.

We're running a black replica one at the moment. It functions much the same as the first SSQV we picked up which we were sold as a genuine item (it failed internally but we repaired it). Both have been apart with us for inspection and minor repairs. I am told the diaphram is thinner on the replica than the genuine but the overall quality is quite good and they seem very good value for money. I've been trying to tweak the sound a bit so it doesn't squeak so much.
