What's it worth. mk1.5 MR2

Post by Steve Horrocks »

Not a for sale ad, but just weighing up some options.
Thinking of possibly parting ways with the mk1.5 next year.

1988 E plate in blue
T-bar with bags & covers
It's a Woodsport conversion (number 19 iirc)
Rev1 3s-gte engine with rev3 metal HG (replaced this year) and a ct20b running 1 bar.
Celica ST185 Carlos Seinz charge cooler with ST205 pump.
Mocal thermostatically controlled oil cooler mounted in the boot where stock vent feeds old intake.
Large ally radiator up front.
mk3 Roadster staggered alloys shod in [F]185/55R15 [R]195/50R15 T1R tyres fitted this year.
Momo steering wheel.
Adjustable Koni shocks.
Celica ST165 bigger brakes up front.
Poly bushed.

It's in not too bad nick, had a few bits welded (after all, it is a mk1!)
It's had the usual area around the ARB's where steering rack comes through done.

Currently it's off the road, but will look at getting in sorted & MOT'd at some point next year, probably end of Jan/Feb time (getting married in a fortnight, so i'm a bit tied up at the moment! Then honeymoon etc...)

So, what's it worth?!

Ha, will let you know. Just needs me to get my ar$e in gear & get things tidied up & finished off. I'll get some shots of the bonnet vent. That's the main thing to let it down, it's been done a bit rough! That's why I got a new bonnet & covered it up as soon as I got the car!

With tax and test - anywhere from £1500 - £3500 I'd say, it's almost impossible to put a specific value on.
