hi,

This is a great project, I like the idea of an MR2 Turbo based on 10th anniversary edition.
I read this topic since the first post with interest.

This is a high quality work, congratulations and  for private registration.

What are the news, now, of this lovely MR2?

I'm thinking of possibly selling this. I'm undecided though..... I just don't seem to be using it. It's not left my garage more than a couple of times since I got it back from the bodyshop. Maybe I'll use it in the summer.

It's the winter MR2 blues mate, I get it every year

Wait till that sun starts to shine and get that roof out and have a blast.

Better still, get yourself on the Lemans trip this year. 8)

Quickly approaching 2000 views on ebay. 79 watchers. Many many questions. There seems to be a lot of interest but still waiting any decent offers. Best so far has been 4k..... I don't think im ready to go quite that low yet but it's close lol

It's gone! :pale: Sold yesterday to Strawman on here (AKA Phil). I get the feeling he is going to look after it and I hope he will be happy with his new toy.

Glad you got what you wanted mate, and sold it. However, I'm still very baffled that you spent all that time, effort and money on it, and never even had a summer to enjoy the car, i.e. built it over winter and sold before spring......

At first I saw that Strawman had bought the car, and thought... I wonder if that's Magic Beans with a new username to avoid being noticed.

Then you called him Phil.

Hi Guys,

Just like to thank Rory for all his hard work on restoring one of the cleanest Mr2's i have seen.
I have being looking for about 12 months now and finally got this one and its absolutely mint in every tiny detail.
I dont get why he wanted to sell it either but i wasnt going to try and change his mind :D

Its now in my garage and will only be let out for sunny events and you can rest assure it will be looked after!!

This is my second SW20turbo but its been 10years since i sold my last one.
i had to fetch my smile back out as soon as i saw it

Look forward to meeting a few of you guys on here at some meets and Rory if your in brum look me up for a pint matey.
