Anyone playing this? Thinking of buying it as I quite liked the demo.. Only thing I didnt like was how the zombies disappeared after killing them.... I thought that was a bit crap lol.. What are your thoughts on it?

Then again the guy that reviewed it is " a lifelong RPG lover and violin player. "
Thats the only thing with reviews, its the reviewers opinion and this reviewer is a "RPG" fan, not an Action / Shooter fan going by that

5 was good, complete the game in under 3 hours (which I did) and start again with unlimited RPG which was good fun

Yep.
RE1 and 2 were excellent, well ahead of their time. RE4 was outstanding and changed the way RE is played. RE5 was ok, copying loads from RE4. RE6 is supposed to be real marmite. Very different again, moved totally away from what RE always was which is survival horror and is now an action shooter with horror elements.
Pain is temporary, pride is forever.

In order of awesomeness, best to worst:
2, CV, 4, 1, 3, 5.
If you've never played RE2 or CV then you are missing out on utterly terrifying but utterly thrilling gaming experiences. 5 was shockingly bad and put me off the games, and tbh 6 doesn't look very appealing either.

Have you got it yet? In two minds, buy this or put the money towards COD:BO2 and get RE6 when it drops in price (RE seems to drop in price faster than COD games..)
Re: Resident Evil 6
nah lol, still playing mw3
