[Mk2] [Turbo] ap enginneering power fc

hi guys im looking for some help i have an ap engineering power fc for my rev2 turbo which i bought from one of the lads on here i also have an avcr boost controller!im just wondering can you just plug the ecu in and drive with the base map which i know is not on mine as it was mapped and what would i need to do to remove the afm im clueless thanks for any help in advance!
