Seems to take forever and annoyingly with the dash i couldnt get it done professionally as I want to do things to the dash after the test...as it would cause it to fail the test!

then ill have it all covered professionally, giving a better finish.

So I hear. I don't envy you

My Indy Hayabusa is from back in the days of the old SVA, so gets away with not having things like a reverse gear etc. You know, those bits that are just wasted weight

The SVA seems like a dream from what ive heard.

The thing annoys me is all these radius checks inside and out ](*,)

Ive put fair amount of sound deadening but it will be still sub 1 tonne. I expect about 900Kg.

Nice, I take it that with the sound deadening and the effort you’re going to with the dashboard etc. that you are building it as nice fast road car rather than a competition car?

If/when I crash my MR2, I’d be really interested in one of these to transfer all of the expensive parts into, rather than re-shelling into another MR2 - Will be watching your build!

Looking forward to seeing how it handles - Will you be taking it on track at all?

Some internet searching found a couple of people who’d had bad experiences ordering from DDR, how did you find them? Everything went smoothly and everything arrive that should have done?

I wont do at first, I cant say never though but after all the time and effort id never push it hard round a track. They were late delivering by 2.5months but that seems to be the norm in the kit car industry lol and of course being american based are absolutely useless in trying to help meet UK regs because of course they don't know them but I knew that when buying and its not that hard (I hope) to build to the regs.

If i was to do it again, id buy a kit off them with less parts dropping the price as when importing it gets another 24% on top. Most bits could be bought in the UK anyway so would of made it a lot cheaper.
