[Mk1] [NA] Viper or Toad?

Hi guys, had my garage broken into a couple of weeks ago so looking at beefing my security up a bit, luckily they took some crappy old wheels and left the car alone. Anyway, I've been looking at Clifford's Viper 480XV for the paging facility and the fact that I can add a wireless PIR sensor and stick it somewhere in the garage. Has anyone got one of these and can say anything good about it?

There's an old thread I found here - http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic. ... iper+480xv - but it's five years old now and I'm hoping the system's been updated since then.

There's also the Toad a1606 which sounds good but I'm not sure whether it has an option for the PIR sensor.
