It appears my alternator has gone for the second time in 7 days ](*,)

If I don't think I can get my car fixed in time then on Thursday I'll happily post my ticket and stand-pass FOC with next day delivery to anyone on the list who still hasn't received theirs. After all the work Karl has put in, I'd rather as many people as possible who have paid get a club ticket and pass. :thumleft:

However priority number one is to fix my car and get out on track!

@ Shinny

Nope, no need to say anything unpleasant to you. I'm happy with your response as the first post did come across (to me anyway) as inflammatory. I appreciate your efforts on clearing that up! :thumleft:

@ Karl

The 2 is back on the road, but I'll take the Shogun if you want a lift? After all your efforts you deserve to at least enjoy the day!!!

Thank you very much for the offer but your 2 deserves a good blast to Coombe and back :thumleft:

I'm going to try and steal the passenger seat in Jack's TRD to get over there. Hopefully he will be kind enough to bring me back as well

Yes, others have received their tickets.

It's Wednesday, there are still a few days before the event. Sit tight!

Well guess what.. still no card today

I went down my local sorting office.. who were ver helpful... wait no... I mean very Unhelpful.

They wouldn't look for my letter with out the note  .. the woman behind the counter pointed to something like 9 boxes with letters and parcels in them and said "theres no way we would find it in there, theres like 2000 items in there" :-k yes of course there was #-o .

Anyhoo what did Japfest have to say on the issue Karl?

I contacted Japfest again today. They said they would contact me again today but failed to do so. As such I am about to send them an email chasing them up.

When I spoke to them last they asked how many tickets we were short so I would presume they are looking at sending out replacements

That's promising... if they are willing to send replacements then they will have to send them tomorrow direct to the people missing them or they wont get to us in time..

It would probably be a case of them sending them to me, and me passing them out at a meeting point/convoy point before everyone drives there

I doubt they would send out numerous individual envelopes to people

Fingers crossed one way or another
A lot more people got their tickets today so I still hold out hope that yours will turn up tomorrow :thumleft:

Entry tickets are for non club members so thats wasted money I'm afraid. Japfest have integrated the entrance ticket/stand pass into a green tab that hangs from your rear view mirror for clubs

Anyway, I digress. There are several stand passes for sale at face value in the General For sale section :thumleft:

In the defence of the person that advised me in the post office (if there can be a defence!)... they have a particularly poor grasp on the English language

Pleased that another one has been found

Yea I'm still waiting for mine.

I've got a pm over on mr2oc from you Karl but it won't let me see? Was it about anything you haven't already said on the forums?

As far as picking the ticket off you.. I hadn't intended going to any of the meeting points after last years fiasco getting it but if needs must it will be better than not going lol. That is assuming the'll send you replacements...
