the rear arches were used off the parts car which had the replacement arch's fitted and were like new , the b post was used as well , all the rest of the panels i made up from sheet steel .

That is truely excellent work, you never cease to amaze me with the comparative ease in which you bring these rust buckets back to life. :thumleft:

Great work! Really love that colour scheme as well.

I'm sure after posting this there will be a fair few forum members with new projects for you ;-)

WOW, that's a lot of rust! Nice work on the car so far!

Like the colour scheme. It's now a very rare mint MK1, with probably a unique 3 tone colour scheme :D

Great job Gary, fantastic seeing someone make the concept come alive. I would love to see a black front lip, black sideskirts and black mudflaps on that :thumleft:

hi paul , i did think about doing the parts you have mentioned in black but decided to follow the concept pics but i think you are right it might break the silver up , i could do with some one on here with the game doing the parts in black first before i repaint them again . i do think thought the wheels are important to the looks off the concept and will finish it off ,the standard wheels look total out off place on the car now .

If you're going for a full replica of the in-game look then I reckon you need to stick one of these on it:

Wow, considering the amount of rust you found ( ), great job! :thumleft:

I too think a little additional black, here and there, might make it look a little more snazzy, but looks great as it is, as well. Congratulations.
