Commas, full stops and capital letters all help you to be understood
OK, which orange light comes on?
Why do you want to remove the orange light? - Fix it instead!
What metal strip? One on the dials PCB?

OK, N/As had oil level sensor in sump. Unplug it and light will come on.
Since you have no sensor, light will always be on.
Remove bulb.
