[Mk2] [NA] Alarm indicator flashers wont stop

Since disconecting the battery to recharge it ( left the R.H. indicator stalk
in possition one, no lights on )

Now it flashes the hazzard indicators for about 15 seconds while driving,
every minute, and even shutting car down, locking it, next day it's the same.

How do I reset the thing, since disconnecting the battery.

Any views welcome .........

1990 mr 2 Mk2: N.A: revision = no idea probably a 1: U.K.
Alarm = no idea. but probaly factory one.

Has red led next to centre vent - flashes all the time.
Key protect ( by right knee ) flashes all the time.
Both always have flashed all the time.

UK cars had a factory alarm. The LED is in the rev counter.

Both the LEDs you mention are aftermarket so no idea how many systems you may or may not have installed and whether they work or do not work.

Suggest you call me, or any other MR2 specialist and get it booked in, or maybe a local auto-electrician.
