[Mk2] [NA] cd player messed up :(

fitted an aftermarket cd player but the connectors didnt match so i re wired everything but everytime i turn my ignition off the speakers pop :/ have i wired something up wrong? :cry:

I suspect you have the amp feed connected to the ignition live rather than through the head unit, but the wiring of these systems is odd!

Check your ground wire is not too long.. if you have an aftermarket amp as well.

Least you don't have alternator whine. :thumleft:

ok so i sorted the popping sound from the speakers but now i have a god awful buzzing sound? :-k

Buzzing is related to grounding in most cases, or bees :wink:

Sorted i shortened the ground wire so far iv had no buzzing and its been 2 days so thank guys :)
