[Mk2] [Turbo] Amp's in the boot power?

Hi guys

I'm wondering where I can get the power feed for two amps that i'm fitting in the boot.

Is is safe to take the power from the fuse box in the engine bay to the back of the car.

I really don't fancy running it all the way from the battery in the front of the car..

Please someone make my day..

Either from the fuse box bolted connector, or off the thick live wire on the alternator

I bolted an extra wire to the alternator which goes to a fused distribution block in the boot which then feeds the amps and also an extra feed running down the drivers side to the battery which really helps with the charging.

I took mine from the feed on the fuse box
