Discussion and technical advice the SW20 MR2. 3S-GTE, 3S-GE, 3S-FE etc
Anything and everything to do with maintenance, modifications and electrical is in here for the Mk2.
I'm starting to work the pennies as the 12 day make over is fast approaching and wheels are something on my list that I haven't looked at yet. I have been playing with photoshop but can't make up my mind what I want. Do love the TE37's!! Any suggestions are welcome
The first picture, although awesome, is a complete sham! You have overlooked the fact that your does actually need rear arches!!!
I know it is only a quick and dirty Photoshop attempt but beware - not Photoshopping to scale and realism gives you much better looking results than you will get in real life. 17" rims don't look as bad-ass as 21's.

Sorry mr photoshop guru sir, nothing was overlooked just wanted a quick wheel change and bodywork so the fact 2" of my wheel arch is missing isn't too much of a big thing
The TE37s in bronze do work well with blue.
Just make sure you look after them and don't inherit someone else's neglect. They start to come good in the end, which can't be said of my hands after all this work on them
I'd buy them new mate, that's why budget is the key. I don't really want wheels that I don't know the history of if I can help it.
Just put the Inovit STVI's on mine and removed the rub strips. I really like them but they it doesn't do the wheels justice...
They are incredibly expensive, considering what they essentially are. It's the balance of how much it's worth just to get that little bit of an improvement over something else. A trap I fell into with hifi/AV kit a long time ago, which makes wheels etc look like bargains
It has a real FTO look about it, I like it
