Couldn't justify it sitting in my garage :(

Good luck with her.

Thought I'd update this thread with some of the changes made since buying the car.

S2000 aerial conversion and rear wing removed - for the time being.

Image

Front and rear brakes refurbished, new OEM discs and pads, Do Luck braided brake lines, Motul RBF600 fluid and brake master cylinder brace fitted.

Image Image

Just purchased some Eibach Pro Springs to replace the Tein S-Tech springs that are currently fitted.

I sourced the brackets from a guy in New Zealand (drop me a pm if you want his email address) then bought the struts from http://www.strutsdirect.co.uk/

Once it's all wired in it will be awesome. I do like these little touches which bring modern touches to older cars.

Also fitted some Yaris washer jets yesterday, a cheap little mod that makes a big improvement to the washer spray.

You don't have elderly neighbours who are going to have a nasty surprise when they venture out next do you?

A few more pics of the 2012 Yaris steering wheel conversion - the steering wheel is smaller than the standard wheel, it is soft leather with triangular profiled perforated grips and red stitching. Need a red stitched leather gear knob to match now.

Stainless steel gauge conversion - I got the gauges cheap as they were 180kph. The gauges they replaced were 180mph ones so I blanked the inner mph dial with carbon fibre discs which match the centre of the steering wheel.

Image

Image

Gauges lit from behind with EL panels and coloured gel sheet, the blue is a lot stronger than it has come out in the pics. The needles and tacho are lit using multiple white LED's in place of the standard bulbs.

Next job is to wire up the steering wheel audio controls to the Sony headunit.
