Camshafts off for balancing to

They are the only ones that understand the right way to balance a 4 cylinder crank.

Got the camshafts back from balancing but nothing needed doing to them as both in balance as made very well in the USA.

But look what had to be added to the crap HKS pulleys

Thermal barrier added to the waste gate and turbo exhaust housing.

Dry sump and turbo manifold is being build by Racer X in the USA, photos soon I hope

Pistons on there way soon I hope and the custom rods will be here in 3 weeks time

Very nice work. I absolutely love the focus on getting every single detail perfect, regardless of cost.

Pistons have been made, and on their way over.

Each one will handle 300 HP

There will be about 4 hours work to do on each one blending and smoothing all the sharp edges and balancing the dish volume

The manifold will be somthing like this. I want to get the turbo down low for the side exit silencer.

dam hks pulleys, wot happens wen u need to adjust advance and retard on your camshafts now? will they need rebalancing

Yes they should be but are never going to be that far out and far better than if the balancing had not been done in the first place

He does a great job, building the dry sump too.

Too much going on at the moment so this build is taking a bit of time.

Yes. Waiting for the dry sump and front pulley to come from the USA, then it all has to be balanced. Also wiring in the gauges and welding up the sills for the MOT. 6 weekends fitting the roll cage. It all takes time.

You also keep slowing me down so you can beat me as you will have no chance once the engine is in and running
