Omg no ones heard of a GTS Turbo

Calling around to get a quote on a GTS Turbo T-Bar and no insurance companies have heard of them even tho i say its exactly the same as a GT except the leather seats and speakers. Shall i just say its a Gt or does any1 know a company that reconises the GTS import.

m8 ive tried, they say let me just check the database, then stick me on hold with sum gay music being played, come bk n say 'nope we cant insure that car as its not on our database' i tell um the difference to the Gt but they dont listen. Il try sum other insurance companies see wot they say, so far ive tried elephant, adrian flux and norich union.

dude, im insured through elephant on my GTS.
i emailed them and told them that a "mate" of mine is insured with them on a gts, and that they insured it as a gt. even tho they no its a gts. they said theyd put it in there notes.

so im insured as a gt, but ive backed up (ie, an email) saying that they realise its a gts, but can insure it as a gt instead.
this is to cover myself if something goes wrong.

i've been insured with flux & sky they bother know about the GT-S

Ive been insured with elephant, bell direct and admiral on my tubby. Each time they have listed my motor as a MR2 Turbo (import). Its never been listed as a GTS or GT.

cheers for the advice guys, il try emailing them as jim said. Ive got my importer calling up the boss at Adrian Flux now (as hes a friend of his) explaining the differences between Gt n Gts so hopefully it shud get sorted soon.

for a cheap quote, goto tesco online and just give em the red number instead of typing in everything. i got a gts turbo, 600 quid third party 1 years no claims all legit im 23

Lol ive tried recommended car insurers and none of them do the Gts, i look on the Tescos car insurance and there it is Gts Turbo T-bar, mind you they wouldnt give me a quote online.

the funny thing is I found the insurance to be cheaper than the GT models. on one company it cost 150 more for the GT.

How old are you? I'm insured with Admiral, mods declared and as a GT-S, it's an option on the website!
