I have a Clifford alarm fitted with Intellistart (remote start)

can anyone tell me how this should be connected/wired so that it will not operate unless the car is in neutral

it worked ok when my car was an auto but not as a manual

unfortunately I found out the hard way as I pressed the remote start button by mistake #-o

The gear selector and\or gearbox doesn't have a neutral position switch bud. If you install remote engine start on a manual - you just have to be careful not to leave it in gear if you plan to use the feature :)
