Damp patch! ARGH!

Post by lemonyfresh »

Hello People,
My passenger side footwell seems to have developed a damp patch, but only after VERY heavy rain :(

I'm hoping it is something to do with the sunroof seals/drain holes, as I could have sworn I saw a drip fall down from the pillar area behind the grab handle the other day while I was driving in the rain.
I might ram a pipe cleaner down the drain hole and see if it is just gunked up.

I haven't had a chance to have a look in any great detail just yet, and i was wondering if anyone else has had the same or a similar issue?

Cheers guys :thumleft:

Also suspect any bonded window that may have been removed at a bodyshop - EG rear quarters.

If they don't clean the body & glass properly - or don't even bother to remove the old sticky stuff... then it can develop a drip.

I don't THINK the glass has ever been out of mine..... :-k
the drip is definitely coming from behind the grab handle, as its been cucking it down yesterday, and i have just had a quick look on my break at work.... Hmmm hmm hmm hmmm.
