1998 MK1A ?

Post by Tiger Tim »

Just saw this 1988 MK1A for sale here in Ireland. It appears to be a MK1A which is very strange as this is well after the "crossover" period. Not buying but has anyone any ideas how it could be a MK1A unless it's an earlier car with a later "identity" :)

Could be similar to that T reg 1999 one that was floating around.
It used to be that cars were 'new' until they were registered. So you could keep a display car at a dealership for a while and then register it.

Loving the engine bay detailing, just empty a can of aerosol onto the inlet plenum and whatever else is in the surrouding area also gets a coat of it...
