Bored and want to buy a couple of used games off ebay and just wanted to see what i have missed.
I like my FPS and adventure games too.
Fallout Las Vegas/MW2/Black Ops/GT5 are the games i have mostly been playing over the last year or so.

It's been a pretty poo year for releases, Portal 2 the best purchase for me that springs to mind. Most of the people on my friends list are still playing COD and GT5 like you which seems to back this up.
Uncharted 3, God of War Origins Collection and Ico Collection are the only releases this year i'm waiting to buy.

Some of lads in work have Red Dead and say it's very good, I forgot I had that, should give it a go sometime.
Ninja Gaiden is unforgivingly difficult, a mate brought it round ages to see if I could get past 2nd boss, who batters you to death in seconds, couldn't work out a pattern and patience wore thin

The game sites and mags love this game (9.5/10, 10/10 etc) but I didnt think it was that great. Its good, great charaters and decent story but it never really gets going and has a depressing ending. GTA4 was more fun to play.
Pain is temporary, pride is forever.

How are you guys able to love Red Dead Redemption?
It's the same thing over and over and over again.
And stupid horse riding, you have to constantly keep pressing the button
I liked it for the 1st few quests, and free riding and wild shooting.
But after that it becomes predictable and boring.
Same with Assassin's Creed. If you've played one mission. You've played them all.
It's all the same quests, same order... Of course the people look-a-like, only thing different is the city.
But then again, it's the same streets, same towers, same jump spots etc etc.
Borrowed 2 games from a friend last week:
Battlefield 2:
Took me 1 day to complete, but was very nice to play.
And,
Alpha Protocol The Espionage RPG which I enjoyed VERY MUCH.
Also took a bit longer to complete.

The old splinter cells have just been re released on psn in hd and those games were/still are awesome. Also dead island is out this week which looks pretty good.

Dante's inferno - only played 30 mins but it was similar to god of war
Unchartered 1
Got 2 but want to complete 1 first. Still looks cracking though.
God of War 3 - how a 3rd person game should be. Old skool kind of gaming hardness.
Duke Nukem was poor. DL the old 3d version for PC instead.
LA Noire was different, I enjoyed it. Forgot I had it till then
Heavey Rain
Mortal Kombat - good for a blast every now and then
Street Fighter 4 - same as MK4
Devil May Cry 4 - cheap and a beast of a game. Probably not as good as the original one but still good for a tenner.
and of course, pro evo if your into footy games.

After a few hours playing (on experienced), not even completed the 1st mission.
