The only noise from my car now is the squeaky clutch pedal.
I know where it's comig from, the arm on the end of the cable.
I lube it up but it returns within a couple of hours.
Anyone know any good tricks or is it a case of waiting for the clutch to be changed???
It's annoying.

Re: Squeeky clutch pedal
shift at higher revs or crank the cd player up... sorry not useful but I have the same issue and even after changing the clutch it's still there. I ignore it now but wonder if it can be heard when I'm changing at the lights.....
Re: Squeeky clutch pedal
mine also squeeks, i've learned to ignore it - pretty sure it can be heard outside

Haha, same here! I've come to accept it as one of the "quirks" of the car now

Re: Squeeky clutch pedal
Its the bushing on the clutch release fork that squeak. When getting clutch done always ask them to lube it, mine was done and is silky smooth and silent now

In my car it sounds like it's was coming directly from under the tunnel/middle of the car, so a bit far for the fork.. but could be it I guess

Re: Squeeky clutch pedal
mine sounded like it came from the pedal itself. when the clutch was done i asked them where the squeak was and they said after following it (first thought it was pedal, then master cylinder) turned out it was the fork itself.
been silent ever since

Get under the car as if you were changing the old filter.
Get someone to press the clutch pedal and you will see the arm move and hear the squeek.
