[Mk2] [NA] Best place to get a radiator from

Post by xanthus400 »

Mine has developed a small pin willy but big enough to kick a small amount of water/coolant mix out when the engine stops. Then stops after a few seconds. Having a quick shufty around its had better days tbh. Had a look on fleabay and seen some aluminium race ones which are supposed to give 40% better cooling than standard rads.Any good or should i just a standard one? Also how easy is it to replace??

standard one will do you fine - TCBparts has them, fensport, or you can try breakers - mr2-ben, gtschris.com .. plenty oif choices but standard is the way to go

Ebay ones are fine tbh, they just don't come with the bleed nipple which means you have to spend a bit more time bleeding the system (parking on a slope with the front facing downhill helps too).
