I've 'heard' from other people, that one was fitted, and lasted 2 weeks in a mildly tuned R3 turbo
Re: Has anyone got this clutch?
Oh dear! Cheers mate. Do you recommend any? I'm running about 300bhp.
Re: Has anyone got this clutch?
plenty of people use the stock toyota or the basic exedy clutch kits with those sort of power levels without issue.

Thing is, unless they were doing 250 miles a week, how could they even have run it in before it blowing in 2 weeks? If they had granny shifted at 3-4 k for that time OFF BOOST then i dont even see how the clutch can get worn regardless if the engine is 250 or 350 bhp?

ultimately i think it depends on whether its cak or not, ie...falls to bits

I broke my new clutch in, in 24hrs, easy to do
Re: Has anyone got this clutch?
That clutch is an Exedy stage 1 cerametalic ...about £350 for the kit brand new...I have an Exedy stage 1 superfibre clutch which came from a rev3 tubby pulling 300bhp ...driven hard at times...12 months old and half way through its life...I also have a standard Exedy clutch which I bought from ebay for £120, it has the same thick metal type pressure plate and the same thrust bearing, the friction plate looked the same but I'm guessing it's not the same compound...still handled 280+bhp no probs...for 2 years.

I bought it from CG motorsport and the cost was about £300 including the new release bearing
Re: Has anyone got this clutch?
I would be very dubious about using this product, if its not as described it could well be just a conventional single plate clutch cut in a wavy patern and painted blue. In my opinion less clutch for more money.
The company has some poor feedback relating to quality and have a low feedback count. Even the photos say may not represent actual product.
That money will buy you a standard Exedy clutch kit which should be good for most moderate to fast road use and you know what your getting.
It's not as though changing the clutch is a 5 minute job!
