Are the brackets that attach to the bar the right way round? I know with the motoria braces, they fit the brackets upside down for ease of shipping.

Was the brace brand new?

yeh its those ones in the pic...and i'm defo mounting them in the correct orientation...

and the brackets are in the position shown in your pic aswell

its wierd because its literally only a few mm off...i tried the rear aswell and that was the same...also have had the same strut braces on before (sold them, so this is a different set, but the same type)

out of interest, without the bar connected, do the turret mounts fit the strut bolts?

You have undone the two big allen bolts so that the end brackets are loose haven't you and then fitted it to see if they line up - when you've then done up the two bolts to the chassis do the allen bolts up on the strut brace.

Yup, which is what I was getting at with my last reply. If the bar is tightened to the brackets when you try and fit the brace, chances are it won't fit.

Brackets need to be slack/removed from the bar to fit the brace, then all tightened up in place.
