1995 turbo black modified

Post by nitric4k »

Here for sale is my MR2 MK2 Turbo
It's a 1995 car, M reg
The car is HPI clear (no finance on it and it's never been any category of write off).

Odometer currently reads 120,000 miles. Car was MOTd in November (passed first time with a few advisories which I sorted out) and has just had 12 months tax stuck on it (start of June). It passes MOT tests just fine with no CAT due to its age (no need for a 'friendly' MOT tester).

Never broken down , It is reliable enough to be my daily driver and only car, as you would expect from a sorted MR2.

The car has 2 keys (one original and one copy) and 2 alarm fobs. I have the pin code for the alarm and thatcham certificate.

Current Spec

Engine:
Manual boost controller
SMIC
HKS dumpvalve
HKS Airfilter
2 SPAL fans
TRD water cap
Stef Derner clamping speedo converter and delimiter
boost set 1.1
Motoria Exhaust
Berk downpipe with flexi

Suspension:
Tein monoflex inc topmounts and droplinks

Exterior:
Sard style front bumper with carbon detailing
airwalker skirts
carbon side scoops to aid air to intercooler
modified toms rear with diffuser
bomex style engine service panels
carbon vented front wings
bomex drift spoiler
optional border carbon bonnet
smoked front side lights and flat tobes to match
tinted rear windows

Brakes and Tyres:
Blueprint pads all round within 6 months
17" Yokohama Super Advans
Falken fk452 215/40/17 on the fronts
Falken fk452 245/40/17 on the rears
Rolled rear arches

Interior:
Trd gauges and control unit
aftermarket Steering Wheel
Shortshifter
red leather seats
red leather gearstick gaiter
Working ice cold air conditioning (uses the newer gas)
Toad Ai606 Thatcham Category 1 alarm with cert and pin
Falcon total closure module

Audio:
eonon 1026 with bluetooth, dvd, divx, tv, usb, memory card double din
infinity ref components
2 x infinity ref 10" subwoofer

Other stuff:
Also has original Toyota optional boot mat and 'Man in Dandism' floormats, all as they were when the car was imported. Space saver spare wheel.

does not use any oil, nor water.
does puff a little bit of smoke when pedel is pushed to floor but its a single puff

pulls like a train and keeps pullling through the rev range :)
all gear changes are smooth

It was a fresh import. since owning the car i have done the following
New steering rack gaiters
full coolant flush in november 2010
last oil chage fully syth 5-40 6.6.11
new pads all round
carpets proff valeted
paintwork mopped

Hi there,
Just seen the car, I'm currently looking have the cash in my room right now.

Just wondering if the car is a GT or GTS? Also what year was it imported?
Any rust? particularly bottom of doors or the sills?
Any clunks from the suspension?

Cheers
Mike
