Hi
I was looking to remap my mk2 but have been told it cant be done ,unless piggyback or a standalone which that this point is outside my budget due to other bolt on mods, i was recommended to go for a fuel cut defender and a pressure regulator instead , can anyone shed any light on this.... the do's and dont is this something that will benefit the car or potentially damage it , as a newbie im unsure so any advice and links to the fcd & press reg would be appreciated incase i buy the wrong thing.. the car is a 97 mk2 turbo rev4

What mods have you done to the car all ready? The Std Ecu will supply enough fuel for around 320hp.
Simple bolt on mods and a raise in boost pressure will see you upto around 300hp easily enough.

never put a fcd on a rev3 +, rev2 yes, but on a rev4 you will kill it
