i'm 47 when i was in my twentys a good mate of mine got cancer,

that was a long time ago but he got the all clear years ago,......It does happen ....and its happening more regular nowadays,....

its easy to get depressed, god knows i would,... but good luck to you i hope your outcome is as good as my mates

I know about the self employed bit,....

its not in the same ballpark but im self employed & just had quite a bad shoulder opp,... the surgen says no work for 6 months..... how imposible is that?

then the social sent me for a medical yesterday to proove i've just had an opp,....all to get a poxy £60 a week.....

thanks for puting things into prospective for me ......

It was easy f me t get depressed but my Mrs kept sayin whatever happens we'll get by,......its just that one of the bentleys might have t go .....lol

Good mate of mine was diagnosed with cancer early last year at the age of 20. She went through her 6 months of treatment and it was successful.

Stay positive and you will get through it mate
