... don't I just tattoo a pic of my 2 to the inside of my eyelids. Got it back from the bodyshop yesterday with smoothed mirrors, deleted aerial and a few dents and old age spots removed and my god it's a pretty car. Spent the morning driving it or looking at it.
I love my 2. Hope you're all having fabulous days.

Re: why oh why...
Pics to follow soon....
I'm loving mine in particular at the moment having just got it back but think it's just the mk2 I love. Still one of the best shapes on the road. Park up next to a TT or another modern coupe and see how fat it looks in comparison.

Do you do the 'park up, walk away, then look back' thing too ? (I do)

Same here, everytime, and I like to glance across at it when I'm in the kitchen. I just can't help myself.

The mk2 is ageless! I look at mine (and any other) and think it still manages to look modern
Re: why oh why...
agree with all the above, get lot's of comments from everyone, amazing for what is such a cheap car now. Classic...

Re: why oh why...
I really love how tiny the MK2 looks next to modern cars
Yours is looking very smooth Rob!

Definitely a pretty car you have Rob. Really want my aerial smoothed too! Don't suppose you have the pics from our pub mini-meet do you?
Re: why oh why...
I'm not sure about the despoilered look, it just ends up making the rear end look featureless and bland. Other than that it looks pretty good.

Re: why oh why...
I dunno I quite like the despoilered look, its a subtle way to make the car look a bit different.
I realy like the way the lines flow on a despoilerd car from an angle.
