Hi has anyone bought amnd fitted the Border bodykit as advertised on pistonheads, is it a good fit ? Or does anyone recommend another kit. The front bumper is really what am after but at the right price the kit would be nice.

Check the small print on the guarantee though, I'm sure there 'was' a clause in it saying if you sign for the parcel then you accept it's a perfect fit or something silly like that?

this is true stevie, but i've only heard good things about their recent stuff, i think the small print is to protect them from people who attempt to fit the kits and can't sending them back, if they send you a genuinely wonky kit, i'm sure they'll refund you :thumleft:

Did you get any kind of refund due to poor fitment?

There is NOBODY on the earth worth their salt who will give a fitment guarentee!!

Proceed with caution in my books!!!

I have a Border front from Replikit and the fitment was great - you just need to dremel to fit the lights.

AFAIK, there was the old Replikit who bought in a lot of kits, some crap. And now, they make in-house.

Another option is

http://www.staffsmr2kits.co.uk/

Now, he doesn't do Border fronts but SARD is nice and a bit more rare. As far as I know, he test fits his items on a spare car he has. Can't ask for more than a test fit !!
Not sure if he still operates that way but definitely worth talking to him.

If you want a good fitting kit, order it here:

http://www.border-racing.com/

I have the full genuine kit on my car and it looks so much better than a replica kit.

Cheaper than you would imagine, too. Although there is the whole shipping thing to sort out.
