[Mk2] [Turbo] boost leak!!!!
hi everyone i own a rev3 1996 tubby and im sure i have a boost leak occasionally my car boosts to 0.4bar when its set at 0.9bar iv replaced a few of the boost hoses checked clamps and fittings but still im sure i can really faintly hear it hissing away im waiting for some new hose to come through the post then il replace all the hoses however my question is are there hoses which are prone to cracking or i should specifically be looking for? any help is appreciated cheers

the hard to get to one.
..above the dowmpipe...my old silicone hoses/joints started to de-laminate and crack, they didn't start to leak unless they were hot or at high boost levels...also replaced all the clips with stainless jubilee type, 75p each from local motor factor warehouse....also check your vac hoses and particularly any t-pieces...get your hands in there and physically feel them, again I have had old ones crack/split before.
