(new ps3) it says its under going maintainence. for the last 2 weeks its threw up the same error code but now its not. i know it says its under going maintainence if u try to sign in with you existing tag but trying to create or recover one its being saying differentH3RB wrote:they must be doing something atleast as now when i try to recover my psn name

Sony did say that you'll only be able to re-activate
Not sure I understand the valid email address as that's what the hackers stole!!!

They're stringing it along "just 2 more days" to try and stopMay 31st, say Sony'the end of the week' before there's anything at all of PSN back 'end of the month' also !

In the meantime, nows a great time to get your PS3′s firmware updated and change your password, both of which are required to get online.
just done the update but can't change password yet as online is still undergoing maintenance BOps tonight (fingers crossed!)..

I was playing up till about 8pm don't know if it actually did go off but it's mentioned in the press today that it was overloaded and shut down again.
